Cyber Systems Engineer 2

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking Cyber System Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.

Description of Position:

The candidate will support development efforts to include:

  • Computer system specifications that address business requirements/workflow and that fit with the program's system architecture standards.
  • Creation and documentation of system parameters and formats that ensure hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modify system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
  • Revising existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (04) years of system engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Shall have two (02) years' experience as a System Engineer supporting software intensive system and software development including areas such as requirements analysis, requirements management, system architecture, system design, process execution and evaluation, selections and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, systems development, integration, verification and sustainment.
  • Shall have experience with development of system documentation such as CONOP, requirements, design, diagrams verification activities, SOP, etc.
  • Shall have strong verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting a tier 1 or tier 2 helpdesk
  • Experience in the installation and end user validation of analytic tools
