Cyber Software Engineer 3/4

Northrop Grumman is seeking a dynamic senior level software engineer 3 or 4 to join a team of highly skilled and diverse individuals specializing in cyber-related applications. The successful candidate is self-motivated, innovative and has experience guiding research and development programs from inception to conclusion. Responsibilities will include design, development, analysis, documentation and testing of software and software systems, as well as specification and integration into varied computing environments.

Software development experience on multiple platforms and multiple languages is necessary, specifically Assembly, C/C++, java, JavaScript, Perl, or Python are desired. Strong experience with shell scripting, Configuration Management (GIT), network protocols, embedded and classic applications, MIPS, SPARC, and ARM platforms, penetration testing, reverse engineering and firmware analysis is highly desired. Experience with design, implementation, and test of solutions for DSP systems in the RF domain is highly desired. Proficiency with multiple operating systems such Windows, Linux, BSD, AIX, Solaris, and HP-UX is required. Superior written and oral skills are required. The candidate must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain TS/SSBI.

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BQs for a Cyber Software Engineer 3 are 5 Years of Software Engineering experience with aBachelors in Science; 3 Years of Software Engineering experience with Masters; 0 Years with PhD
  • BQs for a Cyber Software Engineer 4 are 9 Years of Software Engineering experience with a Bachelors in Science; 7 Years of Software Engineering experience with Masters; 4 Years of Software Engineering experience with PhD.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with multiple operating systems such Windows, Linux, BSD, AIX, Solaris, and HP-UX is required.
  • Software development experience on multiple platforms and multiple languagesfrom the following: Assembly, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python
  • Active Top Secret clearancewith the ability to obtainTS/SSBI.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SSBI
  • Superior written and oral skills are required.
  • Prior experience with Cyber technologies and/or penetration testing
  • Prior experience reverse engineering
  • Signal processing / Kalman filters
  • Strong experience with shell scripting, Configuration Management (GIT), network protocols, embedded and classic applications, MIPS, SPARC, and ARM platforms, penetration testing, reverse engineering and firmware analysis is highly desired.
  • Experience with design, implementation, and test of solutions for DSP systems in the RF domain is highly desired.
  • Software development experience on multiple platforms and multiple languages using all the following languages: Assembly, C/C++, java, JavaScript, Perl, or Python.
