Cyber Intelligence Manager 1

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks to fill multiple Manager positions within EM&S Eastern Region with the Cyber & Intelligence (C&I) discipline and Cyber Intelligence sub-discipline. These front-line EM&S management positions are a dual role encompassing people leadership and technical performance.

These positions are specifically located in Northern Virginia.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This role will focus on two primary areas of responsibility: team leadership and management, and team technical performance.

Team Technical Leadership and Management: Responsibilities include staffing and workload forecasting; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to successfully execute on programs.

Team Technical Performance: Responsibilities include support and adherence to standard analytical and/or targeting processes; the oversight of cost, schedule, and analytical quality for intelligence production; and performance on various types of analytical and targeting contracts in the Cyber Intelligence sub-discipline within EM&S Eastern Region.

This position requires the leader to communicate with Cyber & Intelligence Mission Solutions (CIMS) Division program managers, as well as other EM&S Eastern Region Cyber Intelligence front-line managers and the EM&S-CIMS Business Facing organization. Consequently, excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The leader will also be expected, as necessary, to work closely with the directors and managers of other EM&S disciplines inside and outside Eastern Region, and with directors and managers outside CIMS Division.

Minimal local travel is expected.



Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in intelligence analysis, cyber analysis, intelligence production, intelligence operations, intelligence planning, and/or language analysis (Four years additional xperience may be considered in lieu of degree);
  • Experience leading analytical teams supporting the intelligence production cycle specifically for the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community;
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Effective communication and presentation skills;
  • Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and have or be able to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in a relevant technical or management specialty;
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph;
  • PMI PMP Certification
