Cyber Information Sys Security 2/3

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Computer System Security Analyst 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals and to assist in implementing and enforcing security requirements on their programs.

The position is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive Information Systems Security program for multiple program efforts. Must have experience with System Security Plan development and accrediting systems in accordance with NISPOM, ICD 503, NIST 800-53 requirements, JSIG and DSS ODAA processes. Knowledge of Northrop Grumman security requirements and technical implementation knowledge of DISA STIGs considered a plus.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical and administrative oversight for all information systems security.
  • Develop, document, and implement information systems security plans and obtain customer Approval To Operate (ATOs) in accordance with appropriate directives and customer procedures.
  • Ensure the comprehensive implementation of an education, awareness and training program for all general and privileged information systems users.
  • Ensure continuous information systems security monitoring, periodic self-inspections, and completion of all corrective actions for identified findings and vulnerabilities.
  • Perform security incident investigations and completion of all customer required cleanup/sanitization actions and written reports.
  • This position requires excellent skills in: leadership, customer service, verbal communication, written communication, team building, and technical security experience with varying computer operating systems (i.e. Windows 7, RHEL 6, etc...).
  • Only candidates with an active security clearance will be considered.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

ESCSO

This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience master's degree with 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Current active Top Secret/SSBI clearance.
  • DoD 8570 Certification Security or higher.

Basic Qualifications for a level 3:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Current active Top Secret/SSBI clearance.
  • DoD 8570 Certification Security or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with both Windows and RHEL.
  • Experience with JSIG.
  • Experience with HBSS and ACAS.
  • Experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS).
