Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Cyber Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Dayton, Ohio (Wright-Patterson AFB).

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist the NASIC Enterprise Architecture Office (EAO) with strategic IT management of the NASIC IT architecture, standards, governance, and documentation
  • Assist the Configuration Management (CM) Program Manager with maintaining and publishing the CM Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and supporting change management processes, procedures
  • Support systems engineering and integration efforts related to developing and delivering capabilities supporting both NASIC and IC partners
  • Oversee the Strategic IT Management website and lead effort to develop, coordinate, and publish all IT instructions, charters, CONOPS, and processes related to the Enterprise Architecture and IT service delivery
  • Assist with the review and coordination of all internal and external policies, as well as, technical documentation related to IT service delivery and support. Consolidate inputs from Tech Teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from across NASIC and the IC as necessary
  • Participate in, and assist with the facilitation of, all Strategic IT Management and Architecture related reviews, panels, and approval boards to include: Technical Board of Strategy (TBS), IT Management Board (ITMB), Architecture and Engineering Review Panel (AERP).
  • Follow all approved DoD and NASIC policies, processes and procedures
  • Maintain/coordinate/update Strategic IT Management documentation and Architecture artifacts to include: enterprise systems/application lists, SLAs, MOAs, MOUs, etc.
  • Maintain/coordinate/update CM processes and procedures related to Architecture standards and changes
  • Support systems integration between current and new services, as required
  • Support EAO meetings, panels, and approval boards by recording meeting minutes and action items, as well as, preparing and presenting presentations
  • Support daily activities of the EAO office to include: internal/external document reviews, meeting coordination using local facilities and video teleconferencing capabilities, and Architecture governance

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management and 9 years of relevant experience OR
    • A Master™s degree in Engineering, Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Management Science, or related disciplines and 7 years of relevant experience OR
    • A PhD in Engineering, Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Management Science, or related disciplines and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Certification in IT Service delivery best practices (ITIL and/or, MOF)
  • Certification in Project Management (Project+ and/or PMP)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written & oral) to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders (technical & business)
    Knowledge or application of any of the following:
    Enterprise-wide implementations of COTS, GOTS, or FOSS applications to support Intelligence production
    Enterprise Architecture methodologies and frameworks (e.g. FEAF, TOGAF, DODAF, etc.)
    Enterprise Architecture transition planning
