Contract Administrator (Band 3 or 4)

Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems Sector Business Management Group- Contracts and Pricing Business Division seeks a Contracts Representative (with an active Top Secret Clearance) to join its team. This position supports the Space and ISR Systems Business Division.

This position is located in Linthicum, MD.

The Contract Representative will act as the primary interface with customers and business partners in conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract administration, and serves a key role for our dynamic and fast-paced advanced business area, interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders.

Acts as the official focal point of contact for customer communication and takes a lead role in strategic relationship development.

Duties include administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Basic Qualifications for CA-3:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of contracts/subcontracts or related experience or a Master's degree and 4 years of contract/subcontracts or related experience.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.

Basic Qualifications for CA-4:

  • To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of contracts/subcontracts or related experience or a Master's degree and 8 years of contract/subcontracts or related experience.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance
