Contract Administrator

Northrop Grumman Technology Services (TS) sector is seeking a candidate to fill the Contracts Administrator level 2 or level 3 position located in Herndon, VA. The selected candidate, reporting to the Director, Sector Contracts and International Trade Compliance will support several process and initiatives within the contracts' function to achieve TS performance objectives.

The Contracts Administrator will assist with sector and company-wide contracts guidance and ensuring company compliance. This position interfaces with internal customers and will works closely with the Sector Contracts Directors and Managers on a wide range of sector functions and initiatives.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supports the creation, implementation and launch of policies and procedures in the sector
  • Support the development of tools and processes to facilitate efficient and timely Contracts' reporting
  • Create reports, presentations and analysis on specific Contracts' information and requirements to fulfill Sector and Corporate requirements and requests
  • Understand and assist with unique customer business requirements/policies
  • Support the scheduling and logistics related to Sector and Corporate reviews of certain new business activities
  • Support various projects and goals of the Sector Contracts' organization
  • Support the management and development of Sector Contracts Training

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a Contract Administrator 2 are:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or relevant discipline plus 4 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in business, finance, or relevant discipline plus 2 years of relevant government contracting experience.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations to stakeholders and leadership
  • Excellent organization and communication skills\
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated understanding of managing and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security clearance
  • US Citizenship required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or relevant discipline plus 6 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in business, finance, or relevant discipline plus 4 years of relevant government contracting experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated understanding of managing and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security clearance
  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Experience in SAP/ICMS
  • SharePoint experience in creating/managing sites
