Contract Administrator 4 - Oklahoma City (Secret Clearance Preferred)

Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Requires the ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines as well as handle multiple tasks.

  • Must possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, effectively deal with external customers and meet the goals/objectives of the ContractsTeam.
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of10 years of experience in Contract administration or related field OR a minimum 8 years of experience with Master's Degree.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations is a must, with the ability to apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation and customer relationships.
  • US Citizenship required

    Preferred Qualifications: Active Secret clearance that has been adjudicated within the last 5 years.
