Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Configuration Management Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Rancho Bernardo, outside San Diego CA.

The selected candidate will evaluate, release, and manage program product data.

Essential Functions:
Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. The candidate is responsible for the release and control of data in product data manager system (PDM). Specific tasks: review design drawings and documents for releaseability requirements, perform technical data verification of elements of the Build-To-Packages, release of design drawings, models, and documents, update status and product baselines in the CM tool. Update status accounting system to provide traceability of configuration baselines and provide configuration status report(s).

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor™s Degree from an accredited university and 3 years of Configuration Management experience ORMaster™s Degree and 1 years of Configuration Management experience
- A basic knowledge of configuration and Data Management principles and processes
- Candidates must have a proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, and experience working in a computer aided design environment.
- The ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Teamcenter
- Product Data Management (PDM) tools
- Knowledge of Mil-HDBK-61A and EIA-859
- A configuration status accounting background, knowledge of manufacturing processes to assist in CSA tasks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Active DoD Secret clearance
