Northrop Grumman is looking for a COMSEC Custodian who will assist in the arena of procurement, fielding, and sustainment of Crypto/Keying material and devices. This individual will assist in the tracking, control and inventory requirements of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and company owned equipment. This position is located in Rolling Meadows, IL with occasional travel to other Northrop Grumman facilities.
The COMSEC responsibilities will include: ensuring maximum COMSEC safeguards are in place, maintaining proper accountability, handling, storage, packaging, shipment, and administration of all cryptographic materials. The COMSEC Account Manager will perform installation, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of COMSEC equipment, as required, hands on experience of setting IP addresses, routes, rules and templates in CCI Devices and software upgrades, system equipment certifications. Other duties will involve the ordering and transfer of cryptographic keys, loading keying material to KGs, KIVs, OMNI's, SECTERA Wireline Terminals, Vipers, and numerous GPS units. The COMSEC Account Manager will interface with the help desk and communicate with vendors. The COMSEC Account Manager will assist in the ongoing development, presentation and accurate record keeping of COMSEC security awareness training for all COMSEC users.

MSSEC
This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.
Basic Qualifications for a level 2:
Active Secret Clearance.
3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters; experience in lieu of degree accepted. Experience to include COMSEC or related.
Basic Qualifications for a level 3:
Active Secret Clearance.
6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters; experience in lieu of degree accepted: Experience to include COMSEC or related.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Active TS/SCI clearance.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Security + or other equivalent certification.
Decision making skills.
Effective liaison with government and industry partners.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
