Computer Systems Security Analyst 2

This position is in direct support the Information Systems Security Manager. The Computer Systems Security Analyst (CSSA) will ensure compliance with various government regulations to include the, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53.

Responsibilities include preparation of system accreditation documentation, verifying the configuration of information systems, develop Computer Security education and awareness, perform security reviews and inspections of classified computers systems and networks, security incident investigations, and assisting team members, auditors and system administrators with current system security requirements.

The CSSA is involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. The position requires excellent skills in: leadership, team building, customer service, verbal and written communications, and computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Access and Visio.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of DoD Information Systems Security experience or related.

Security Certification.

Current active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree with a technical emphasis (e.g. Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, EE).

Security or CISSP certification

Current active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
