Computer Systems Architect 3 or 4
Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Computer Systems Architect 3 or 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD with travel required up to 25% of the time.
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's new classified program providing a Network Operations Center (NOC), a Security Operations Center (SOC), and encrypted network services to multiple customer sites. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Define and design system architecture for a new classified program.
Responsible for completing the final network and system architecture. The program will provide the opportunity to expand or extend services and the architect will assist with preparation of proposals.
Provide regular contact with the Program Manager, including review sessions to discuss technical performance against the master schedule, and planning regular updates and upgrades to the environment.
Oversee the work of the network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts on the program.
This position is contingent upon proposal award.
This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4. BQs for a Computer Systems Architect 3 are a Bachelor's and 5 years of experience. BQs for a Computer Systems Architect 4 are a Bachelor's and 9 years of experience. To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Experience working with customers in a classified space
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Secret and Top Secret networks
Experience with network point-to-point encryption
Experience reviewing and approving system and network designs
Minimum of 5 year's experience as a systems architect
Active TS/SCI clearance

- Experience with Microsoft Windows servers
- Experience with server virtualization technologies
