Computer Systems Architect 3 or 4

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Computer Systems Architect 3 or 4. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA with travel required up to 25% of the time. Additional sites are located in Rancho Bernardo, CA and one East Coast site at a location to be determined. No relocation assistance is available. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. This position is contingent upon proposal award

Roles and Responsibilities:
Define and design system architecture for a new classified program providing a Network Operations Center (NOC), a Security Operations Center (SOC), and encrypted network services to multiple customer sites.
Responsible for completing the final network and system architecture. The program will provide the opportunity to expand or extend services and the architect will assist with preparation of proposals.
Provide regular contact with the Program Manager, including review sessions to discuss technical performance against the master schedule, and planning regular updates and upgrades to the environment.
Oversee the work of the network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts on the program.

Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4. BQs for a Computer Systems Architect 3 are Bachelor's Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience as a systems architect in a technical field; or Master's Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience as a systems architect in a technical field. BQs for a Computer Systems Architect 4 are Bachelor's Degree in a related field and minimum 9 years' experience as a systems architect in a technical field; or Master's Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience as a systems architect in a technical field.

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Experience working with customers in a classified space
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Secret and Top Secret networks
Experience with network point-to-point encryption
Experience reviewing and approving system and network designs
A currently active Top Secret/ Secret Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Experience with TACLANE encryption
Experience with Data Diode technologies
Experience with Cisco networking equipment
Experience with Microsoft Windows servers
Experience with server virtualization technologies
