Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Systems Support Analyst to join our team in our Clearfield, UT offices.

Position Responsibilities:

The Systems Support Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Respond to the user Alert system or automated software system alerts, triage of the alert, review of knowledge base and action as needed, and contact of appropriate level 2 resources
    • Support for users of desktop computers and peripherals
    • Support for network and connectivity issues Layer 1/Layer 2
    • Application support for the manufacturing systems
    • Coordinate issues and solutions with other IT support personnel and users
    • Respond to user issues in a timely, professional, and effective manner
  • Work as a member of a team and provide off-hours, on call, support when required
  • Use ServiceNow to create and track incidents and document resolution
  • Ensure compliance with established company security policies and accepted risk impact to the business
  • Create and maintain IT-related documentation (e.g. installation notes, process documentation, inventory, etc.)
  • Support IT projects as required
  • Perform routine administrative and technical tasks such as reviewing operating logs, performing system imaging, creating user accounts and various reporting.

  • Bachelor's degreeand 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Expert level troubleshooting skills with the ability to use tools and experience to resolve complex problems, in a highly complex Enterprise environment.
  • Experience with Windows OS Desktop and Server Environments
  • Experience with Active Directory/Group Policies
  • Experience supporting with business level software systems
  • Must be self-directed
  • Work at a high level with minimal supervision
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to desktop systems and peripherals
  • Effectively diagnose and mitigate network connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot basic mobile device issues (iPhone, iPad)
  • Quickly determine user issues and take action to solve problems
  • Assist users via remote support tools, by phone, or at the user's desk
  • Use operating system tools to mitigate system issues
  • Follow standard processes and documentation
  • Must possess a valid driver's license to be considered for position
  • Experience in a highly-regulated, engineering industry (e.g. Aerospace) is a plus
  • Microsoft, Cisco and other certifications a plus

    *Please note, this position is a 2 nd shift. Hours will be 6pm 6am.
