Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening fora CNI Engineerto join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

E -2 / C-2 AMC IPT is looking to hire a CNI Engineer with experience in Communication and Navigation Systems.

CNI Engineer is responsible for design, development, integration, and test of communications systems equipment for a developmental program.

Essential Functions:
- Support communication and navigation system analysis, design, engineering capture, build, and integration

-Requirements development and analysis and supporting trade studies
- Perform review and analysis of supplier design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration, and support test execution
- Informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements in lab, troubleshooting hardware in the lab

- Supporting flight test activities and post flight data analysis, and Resolution of flight test anomalies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and2 years of electronics engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university
  • Experience in military and/or commercial airborne Flight Management Systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Interim Secret level security clearance prior to start
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
