College Intern Administrative
Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.
Northrop Grumman Technology Services (TS), Global Logistics and Modernization division, is seeking a college intern who is strong academically, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a demonstrated background in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic environment fostered by the innovation and affordability necessary to perform and grow in a short cycle business. The work location will be Herndon, Virginia at the Technical Services Sector Headquarters. The intern will be exposed to assignments in business administration, finance and accounting. Focus areas may include international accounting and reporting, financial consolidations and balance sheet analysis, long range financial planning and analysis, and cost structure analysis in support of market objectives. Intern may be asked to prepare reports based on their analysis.
Excellent communication skills
Pursuing a degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Advanced Microsoft Office user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
