CMM Programmer

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer to join its organization. This position is located in Linthicum, Maryland.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Create and develop code to program Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment through the use of CMM programming tools such as PCDMIS. Plan, design, and document the tooling and processes required to execute the inspection of product on the CMM machine.

This is a2nd shift position.
Basic Qualifications:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High School Graduate or recognized equivalent.
Must possess a vocational technical school degree in Manufacturing or Inspection, OR an Associate of Science Degree (minimum 60 semester hours), OR two years (minimum of 60 semester hours) of college level study with a major in an Engineering Discipline with an emphasis in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Computer Science.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Ten years experience - five years manufacturing experience in a machine shop environment or in performing dimensional inspection of precision machined parts with ability to perform open set up and classical hands on inspection of product, and five years hands on CMM online and offline programming experience integrated with a CAD system. Demonstration of CMM programming capability required.
