The team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a CLT SEIT Interface Engineer (MDI - Mechanical Design and Integration Engineer) based out of Redondo Beach, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector (NGMS) is seeking a Systems Engineer who has experience developing and coordinating mechanical interfaces and drawings between elements and subsystems. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with elements on their physical design models, determine what are the mechanical interfaces between elements, and model them in NX. It is required for the candidate to identify interfaces in the Architecture model (CAMEO) and model the Physical design in NX.

The selected candidate will work with a diverse, talented and geographically dispersed team of employees with a variety of focused specialties.

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing, reviewing, consolidating and coordinating interface requirements between various elements
  • Developing, modeling, reviewing, and ensuring congruence for the architecture between various elements
  • Developing, modeling, reviewing, and ensuring congruence of interface definition between various elements
  • Performing any special projects, preparing and presenting briefings.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2

  • 2 years of Engineering experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 0 years of System Engineering experience with Masters
  • Familiarity with CAMEO Architecture and NX Design tools or equivalent
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3

  • 5 years of System Engineering experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 3 years of System Engineering experience with Masters; 0 Years with a PhD
  • Familiarity with CAMEO Architecture and NX Design tools or equivalent
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
