Certificate Program Specialist (Cyber)

The Northrop Grumman Human Resources organization is seeking a Certificate Programs Specialist to join the Technical & Functional Development team (TFD). TFD delivers development resources to the NGC workforce through 4 primary activities: 1) understanding the company's current/future talent development needs, 2) creation of talent development strategies to meet those needs, 3) defining, developing, and deploying content and programs, 4) verifying program impact to ensure outcomes justify the investment. In support of this mission, TFD is working with external organizations and academic institutions to launch apprenticeships and other academic certificate programs.
Key Responsibilities
This role supports the design, development, and delivery of resources/programs in two primary areas: 1) apprenticeships and 2) academic certificates for early career technical talent. In this role, you will:
Represent the company externally with partners, universities, agencies and organizations related to these initiatives
Partner with sector stakeholders and corporate councils to understand business needs and identify gaps in current offerings
Partner with internal subject matter experts, external organizations, and academic institutions to design, create, and customize content, including educational curricula, experiential opportunities, and exposure components
Drive program delivery in partnership with enterprise stakeholders
Evaluate offering effectiveness, by demonstrating clear business outcomes to ensure offerings provide measurable value to the organization
Successful Candidate Will:
Support the development and delivery of new apprenticeship programs, with a particular focus on cyber apprenticeships
Support the development and delivery of university-level credential programs with participating universities and companies
Possess outstanding organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration
Combine design skills with an intense focus on execution and follow through
Provide strong thought leadership, expertise and strategic vision to develop new offerings
Act with a sense of urgency to deliver high quality products on time
Take initiative in advancing individual projects aligned to human capital and business goals
Navigate ambiguous situations and adapt to shifting priorities

Basic Qualifications:
Related education/experience: 3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience establishing and maintaining strong customer and community partner relationships
Proven experience with project management methodologies and running programs to meet cost, quality and delivery expectations
Strong business acumen, including value proposition development, metrics/measurement, and tradeoff analysis
Subject matter expertise in apprenticeships, training programs, and/or engineering/technology, especially Cyber, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence
Executive level briefing experience to internal and external stakeholders
