C4ISR Technical Support Manager 2

This position supports the IAMD Mission Operations focus area and leads and manages activities responsible for the closure of outstanding Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) related issues of the IBCS system. The candidate performing in this role is responsible for coordinating across the enterprise to ensure fielding success of NG IAMD Systems by focusing on mission operations excellence and warfighter needs. This position represents the C4ISR Subject Matter Expert/Analyst on a working group team who are the primary contractor advocate of soldiers for all activities related to the NG's IAMD systems.

As part of Mission Operations, the candidate will maintain a system of systems focus with respect to the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel and Facilities (DOTML-PF) processes and how they correspond to engineering, manufacturing and development processes. This position will also work with the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to maintain situational awareness of all product development, provide early identification and resolution of development issues, and facilitate cross-IPT synchronization.

This position also will lead the studies, problem solving, and troubleshooting of current and future C4ISR Technical IAMD issues/challenges, concepts and requirements addressing Service and Joint Intelligence functions. The candidate will provide Subject Matter Expertise for C4ISR related studies, analysis, modeling and simulations. The candidate is expected to participate in various process teams and ad hoc groups to develop C4ISR related system requirements, operational and organizational plans and concepts, and technical, system, and operational architectures in support of NG IAMD Systems, such as IBCS, AMDPCS, C-RAM, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge, understanding and expertise with U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense Systems, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and doctrine.
  • Knowledge of DoD Acquisition processes and publications
  • Minimum of 5 year of proven leadership or management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter, who can work under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing and fielding U.S. Army Air Defense Systems
  • Previous experience and familiarity with Air and Missile Defense System, such as the Air and Missile Defense Planning and Control System (AMDPCS), Counter Rocket, Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM), Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS), Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile and Sentinel Radar System.
  • Understanding of U.S. Army Air Defense Force Operations
  • Experience developing advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.
