Where Technology and Teamwork come together...Northrop Grumman is seeking aBusiness ManagementAnalyst 2to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Launcher Business Unit. This position will be located in Sunnyvale, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • WBS development, program base-lining, proposal preparation, negotiation support, risk and opportunities assessment, preparation of visibility reports, performance measurement (Earned Value Management), variance analysis and development of Estimates To Complete (ETC) and Estimates At Completion (EAC).
  • Preparation and coordination of financial forecasting and reporting; A/R tracking, the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the annual Resource Plan.
  • Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  • Perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Program financial analysis and external/internal reporting for Sector programs.
  • Interface with program and functional management to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
The ideal candidate will beable to function in a dynamic organization and communicate within a team environment. The candidate must be capable of performing work under general direction/ participated in determining and managing objectives, and be able to plan and schedule activities to accomplish objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, and Accounting, with 3 years of related work experience OR a Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, and Accounting, with1 year of related work experience.
  • Strong PC skills are required, with high level Excel skills (specifically, the ability to insert pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)
  • Prior demonstrated success determining and managing objectives, incl ding planning and scheduling activities to accomplish objectives.
  • The ability to obtain a US Secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial analysis experience within the defense industry
  • Earned Value Management Customer Reporting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Professional working experience with SAP and Deltek ® MPM or Cobra Earned Value Management System
