Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Cyber & Intelligence Mission Solutions Division is seeking a Cyber Solutions Architect to design and development of architectures, solutions, and technical strategies for data-intensive mission systems across the division's portfolio.
The AWS Application Software Analyst 4 role will be located in McLean, VA.
Position Description:
- The ideal candidate will design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with system engineers in the planning, design and development.
- Candidate demonstrated work experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (NoSQL) such as Hbase, Cloudbase/Acumulo, Big Table, etc, solid understanding of core Java, Python, JSON and/or BSON, JQuery, Ajax, Javascript, SQL, Knowledge of REST service and Agile development methodologies.

Basic Qualifications - To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field and a minimum of 9 years related technical experience required.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation for continued employment.
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience and comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Solid understanding of core Java, Python, JSON and/or BSON, JQuery, Ajax, Javascript, SQL, Knowledge of REST service and Linux Shell script.
- Comfortable working/developing in a Linux environment.
- Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
Preferred Qualifications – Preferred candidates for this position will have:
- AWS certification.
- Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
- Experience working on an agile development program.
