Aviation Logistics Support 3

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is looking for an experienced (AK/LS) Logistics Support candidate for the Japanese Self Defense Force (JASDF) E-2D Program. This position can be based in Melbourne, FL or Norfolk, VA, and will require peiodic business travel to St. Augustine, FL over a period of approximately 16 months. Additionally, this position will also require a deployment to Misawa, Japan for approximately 18 months. Therefore, the candidate must have or be able to obtain a valid passport. This will be an accompanied assignment to Japan. The candidate will provide logistics support to the maintenance team in Florida and Japan. The candidate must have an intimate knowledge of the USN supply systems operations. Must be able to develop requisitions and manage records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to this product.Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate shall have a minimum of high school diploma and 4 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of the E2 aircraft
  • Solid understanding of the NAVSUP P 485 procedures
  • Knowledge of NALCOMIS for OMA/IMA
  • Understanding of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 (series)
  • Extensive knowledge of ASD, NAVICP, ATAV/ FIMARS, One Touch, FEDLOG
  • Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Navy Organizational Level LS experience.
  • IMRL/ HAZMAT management experience is a plus.
