Associate Material Requirement Planning Analyst

Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems (NGIS) is looking for you to join our team as an Associate Material Requirements Planning Analyst based out of Clearfield, UT.

What You'll get to Do:

This position primarily focuses on the planning of indirect materials. The individual will be responsible for planning, preparing, and scheduling the material supply supporting and ensuring a systematic and controlled flow of approved material timed to meet production requirements, manufacturing and maintenance demands. This individual will perform variance analysis and review planning execution to validate and ensure the accuracy of system triggers.

Consumption rates will be used to support and validate the inventory planning settings. Risk analysis is conducted to support the resolution and prevention of critical path material issues and planning logic conflicts. This individual will coordinate inter-functional activity and communication. They will support regularly scheduled team meetings and coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other support departments. Report development will be required and used to help ensure materials are on time to support the demand. This individual will advise management of any issues or concerns supporting material requirement planning activities.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 4 years of Supply Chain experience in Planning, Inventory Control, Production Control, Procurement or function therein the Supply Chain capacity.
  • Proficient Use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint Skills
  • Knowledge and Understanding of Material Planning Logic
  • Knowledge and Use of ERP Systems and Structures
  • High Level of Communication & Presentation Skills (Oral and Written)
  • High Level of Organization and Production Planning Skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Other Microsoft Office Suite Skills
  • Deltek Costpoint Experience
