AS PMO Pipeline Professional Technical - All Levels

Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services sector is searching for junior and mid-level Engineering Applications Software Development Analysts with experience in development, administration, and user support of Systems Engineering and Software Engineering applications. The incumbent will provide engineering support in both classified and unclassified environments for Systems and Software Engineering application instances at Northrop Grumman. The position will deploy, support, customize, and maintain the suite of commercial applications used by the system/software development organizations. Applications include, but are not limited to STK, Matlab, MathCAD, Magic Draw, VectorCAST, DOORS, EggPlant, and others.

Additional duties include:

  • Research, design, develop, install, configure, administer, support, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
  • Participate in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards
  • Evaluate interface between software and systems, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
  • Document implementations, testing, and maintenance of application environments
  • Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions
  • Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contact
  • Requirements definition and planning
  • Server configuration
  • Client software installation
  • Documentation of testing and maintenance of systems
  • License management
  • Trouble ticket and incident resolution

This position can be hired as a level 2 or level 3 depending upon years of experience and education.

Work locations include but are not limited to the following: El Segundo, CA; Redondo Beach, CA; San Diego, CA; Melbourne, FL

Basic Qualifications:

This position can be hired as a level 2 or level 3 depending upon years of experience and education.

Basic Qualifications for level 3:

  • Bachelor's of Science in STEM and 5 years of experience with engineering application support, development and maintenance.
  • Experience with supporting applications and users within a large enterprise.
  • Experience with desktop, client/server and web architecture end-user support and incident resolution.
  • Work effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country and influencing others to action who are not direct reports. Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality
  • Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:

  • Bachelor's of Science in STEM and 2 years of experience with engineering application support, development and maintenance. • Experience with supporting applications and users within a large enterprise.
  • Experience with desktop, client/server and web architecture end-user support and incident resolution.
  • Work effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country and influencing others to action who are not direct reports. Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality
  • Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3.25 GPA or higher
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aero Engineering, Computer Science
  • Security certification
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance
