NGA-TS provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft-a derivative of the Airbus A330-200.
Multiple vacancies exists for motivated, dynamic and experienced Avionics AME's to join the Maintenance Support Team performing heavy maintenance duties based at our Pinkenba facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance tasks and assist in identifying manpower; spares; tools and facilities requirements
  • Work as part of allocated team and deliver serviceable aircraft on time and within budget
  • Resolve manpower; technical and logistics conflicts and present solutions to Crew Leaders and MQI's
  • Continuously audit Tools; FOD and Aeronautical Product control
  • Report and follow-up major defects and publication deficiencies in accordance with MMP instructions
  • Participate in working groups to aid development of future state and capability
  • Source consumables; approved data; tools and co-ordinate relevant trades for Component and Storage Maintenance
  • Perform Periodical Checks within approved capability
  • Adhere to Corporate and Divisional Service Standards.
  • Ensure that all activities undertaken fall within organisational policies and procedures and comply with all published corporate standards.
  • Work with due care and consideration to safeguard own health and security, and the health and Security of others.
  • Report all incidents (including dangerous occurrences) and hazards and adhere to with safe work practices and policies.
  • Comply with all responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities as required by the Group management system standard and associated policies


  • Must be an Australian citizen or be capable of attaining an Australian Defence Security clearance (essential).
  • Cert IV Aviation Trade
  • Thorough knowledge of the structure and use of interactive technical publications


  • Previous Experience in Heavy Maintenance environment
  • KC-30A technical experience
  • Experience in transport category aircraft environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of external technical / maintenance support networks
