Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician 2

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking entry level Aircraft Sheet Metal Technicians for our Cherry Point North Carolina F-35 modification location. The successful candidate will adhere to technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations while disassembling, inspecting, and preparing composite or metallic parts and structures for follow-on operations. These preparations include performing various operations such as sanding, stripping, masking and other operations prior to applying appropriate coatings and reinstalling parts.

Basic Qualifications:
- AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year related experience. Experience may be used in lieu of education.
- Must currently possess active US DOD SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) desired.
- Composite repair experience
- DoD aircraft maintenance experience desired.
