Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Aircraft Low Observ Mech 4 for our Cherry Point North Carolina F-35 or Maintenance Repair Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U) location. This is an excellent opportunity for you to grow professionally, enter/expand your capabilities in the F-35 MRO&U industry, and lead a team of NGTS technicians to achieve superior results on a highly visible F-35 program priority. Your performance will directly impact NG's objective of increasing our role as a key partner in the F-35 sustainment program.

The successful candidate will adhere to technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations to remove LO materials, disassemble, inspect, and remediate corrosion on composite or metallic panels and structures, then re-assemble and reinstall parts, and re-apply LO.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma with 6 plus years of related experience and/or AA Degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience
  • Low observable coating experience
  • Active US DOD SECRET security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • DoD aircraft maintenance or MRO&U experience
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P)
