Afgan - Military Information Support Operations(MISO) Planner

Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced a Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Planner to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

These positions will be located at the United States Central Command in Afghanistan.

The successful candidate will support our customer by assisting in all aspects of MISO planning. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of current communication and engineering technologies supported by excellent listening and
administrative skills to capture highlights of briefings, and key engagement with others in the industry.

Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Provides MISO planning support in the USCENTCOM AOR.
2. Provides MISO planning and targeting support to integrate and synchronize with IO and exercises.
3. Duties include development of military operational plans and development of innovative solutions to complex problems.
4. Participates in meetings, conferences and technology related events and experiments.
5. Develops, maintains, and archives security related documents, doctrine, and classified information within
6. Provide technical expertise, support and management on the implementation of MISO related programs, projects and
7. Interface, coordinate and leverage ongoing research and development (R&D) efforts across industry, US government
and academia.
8. Maintain 24/7 on call availability on a rotational basis with other team members for limited periods

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor's degree (High School Diploma and an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirements).
- 9 years of planning experience.
- Experience integrating MISO activities with operations
- Ability to develop CONOPs and coordinate approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a current U.S. Passport.
- Willing and able to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations as required by the program. (some locations may be hazardous)

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- Master's Degree
- Joint or Service Level MISO or Information Operation planning experience.
- Recent Military Deception Planning experience
- Experience working in the customer space as an individual technical contributor.
- Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills to include proficiency with customer-based communication systems.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
