Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems – Flight Sciences Department is seeking Aerodynamics, Performance and Propulsion Engineers across multiple disciplines including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Vehicle Performance & Sizing, Aerodynamic Design, Aerodynamic Analysis, Inlet & Exhaust Design, and Engine Performance & Integration. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Advanced Systems Design Group currently engaged in the exciting design and development of next generation aircraft.
As a member of the Advanced Design Team the candidate will lead the definition, analysis, and application of aerodynamics, propulsion, and vehicle performance design criteria and resulting airframe designs for various aerospace projects. The ideal candidate would be capable of supporting a team engineers within an Integrated Product Team.
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution
- 1-6 years of engineering experience focused on any of the Aerodynamics, Propulsion, and Performance Disciplines
- Ability to obtain and maintain and active DoD Secret Clearance is required
- Master’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- An active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Direct experience in the advanced design of military aircraft
