Accountant 2

Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking candidates for an Accountant 2 role. This selected individual will play pivotal supporting role to the Manager of Accounting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and submission of customer billings
  • Monitor cash collection status for government contracts
  • Miscellaneous accounts receivable reporting and resolution of payment issues
  • Coordinate canceling funds and contract closeout effort
  • Support monthly cash collection and forecasting goals
  • Interface with internal and external customers
  • Support banking and treasury requirements
  • Support DCAA incurred costs and billing audits
  • Special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with at least 3 years' of relevant experience minimum two years accounting/contracts related experience
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • US citizenship with an active top secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience
  • Prior government contracting experience
