Northrop Grumman is seeking System Engineer candidates for internship opportunities. This position will be located at our Technology Services Sector in Springfield, Falls Church, or Lorton, VA.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will work as part of PSPD (Passenger Systems Program Directorate) Development Team and must

be a quick learner with strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and soft skills, with an ability to

manage multiple assignments of varying priority. Assignments may include

  • Software development (Java, .NET), database development, and others

The Technology Services Intern Program is a key strategy in our college recruiting program. The objective is to provide our interns with practical experience and to combine that experience with a targeted development program. The experience,education and enrichment we offer our interns prepare them for full-time employment within their chosen professions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • 3.25 GPA or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3.7 GPA or higher
  • Internship experience, leadership & teamwork experience, interpersonal communications skills, and/or involvement with Diversity & Inclusion organizations.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
