The Civil Solutions Business Unit is a leading provider of services and systems designed to provide the fundamental capabilities that drive vital public safety initiatives and enable effective government. We deliver solutions that help our customers safeguard citizens; design, develop, and sustain our customers’ mission systems; and speed the delivery of critical services to a wide range of our customers’ missions, both domestic and international. The Civil Solutions Business Unit Subcontracts team seeks a highly motivated individual to serve as a valued member of our team. The successful candidate will perform a wide-range of duties, such as subcontract management, assist with capturing new business, provide administrative support within the department and be responsible for developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity under very general supervision.

Responsibilities include participating as part of the Subcontracts Team in strategic sourcing decisions, developing teaming agreements, preparing requests for proposal consistent with customer solicitations and corporate policies and procedures, analyzing and evaluating proposal responses, ensuring that risks and mitigation strategies are identified, developing negotiation plans, finalizing subcontract terms and conditions, prepare justifications and negotiation memorandums, and documenting files in preparation for internal and external audits by applying Northrop Grumman values, policies, procedures, and practices.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or other related discipline.

0 yrs of experience.

Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint

Able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communications.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

GPA 3.25 or better

Experience using databases and data mining.Experience in working with multi-functional teams.

Ability to research and determine the applicability of policies and procedures.

Previous experience as an intern in a business or supply chain related capacity
