Mold Maintenance Assistant- TEMP

Work alongside the group leader to help clean mold components and mold prep area

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean molds for preparation of assembly under the instruction of the department group leader
  • Degrease and remove corrosion from molds using mold cleaners
  • Storing unused components in their proper location
  • Maintaining a clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Practice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with industrial machinery and/or automotive in a mechanical aspect
  • Experience with forklift and pallet jack operation, preferred

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Math and reading comprehension
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions
  • Ability to take verbal instruction and follow through with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Mechanical aptitude

Frequent stooping and bending. Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility. Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
