Customer Support Engineer

Main Tasks & Duties of the Position:

1. Identify A & B accounts & develop appropriate relationship to develop business

2. Grow recapitalisation system sales in line with Company objectives

3. Develop multi system sales opportunities using “Value Selling” techniques

4. Use existing application database to identify new potential sales in existing customers

5. Identify new potential customers through pro-active data-mining & networking

6. Pro-actively up-sell aftermarket products, as appropriate, to all customers

7. Gain firm knowledge of territory through courtesy calls & liaison with Engineering team

8. Generate strong working relationships with adhesive suppliers & transfer knowledge

9. Report all activities & customer data in CRM system to ensure complete transparency

10. Interact with colleagues to help transfer knowledge & potential opportunities to sales force

Education/ Experience and Soft Skills:

1. Proven successful field based sales experience within capital equipment industry

2. Good all round education with knowledge of engineering, sales & marketing

3. Strong commercial & sales skills with ability to communicate with customers at all levels

4. Ability to understand customer empathy with desire to meet required expectations

5. Capable of working independently using own initiative or be a member of a team

6. Ability to show structured method of work, planning and executing different workloads

7. Strong oral and written communication, negotiation & value selling sales skills

8. Ability to be flexible in day to day duties & willing to stay away overnight where required

9. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, CRM & general IT skills

10 Valid driving licence
