VENDOR MANAGER I
Key Job Accountabilities: • Manage materials manufacturing process for 2+ assigned material vendors • Work with Sr. Vendor Manager to drive and execute materials excellence & strategies with vendors • Act a primary resource for vendor communication, performance evaluation, management and issue resolution • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with vendors. Communicate and provide feedback to vendors regarding KPIs related to innovation, costing, on-time delivery, quality and sustainability. Work with Sr. Vendor Manager and/or cross functional team members to implement corrective actions as needed. • Drive and execute supply planning and capacity management for samples and production, collaborate with Sr. Vendor Manager on capability including constraints and communicate effectively across the Global and Regional material matrix • Create and maintain vendors capacity details, weekly review forecast and production plan with vendor for gap analysis. Facilitate resolution on exceptions. • Responsible for maintaining all production tools, vendor source base tools and all pertinent material information in an accurate and timely manner. Review and update vendor performance with Sr. vendor manager on regular basis and prepare various vendor performance detail reports • Manage and execute source options, facilitate meetings and on-site visits. • Additional project and task assignment Qualifications: • Bachelor degree with 2+ years working experience in Textile industry as fabric developer/buyer/merchandiser. • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin. • Ability to work independently, proactive, self-motivated, positive work attitude, detail oriented, organized, strong sense of responsibility. • Understanding of windows office software as a tool for report, research and communication. Good Excel skill is important. • Travelling (in Taiwan and Asian countries) might be required.
