Senior Finance Analyst - Human Resources Operations

HR Operational Services is the engine powering a full suite of HR services to NIKE, Inc. We support a growing workforce of over 70,000 employees across the globe. Operational Services includes the Financial management of NIKE HR's daily operations and strategic HR investments.

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will partner with the HR Finance manager to implement, administer, and provide financial oversight within HR. You will serve as an advisor to HR leaders and other team members and determine the best way to access and report information utilizing an ecosystem of HR and financial tools. You will prepare timely and accurate reports along with insightful analysis to track progress against near and long-term financial plans. You will actively interpret and review financial results, including trends, issues, and opportunities to drive actionable responses across HR.

Key responsibilities include the preparation of budgets, forecasts, processing journal entries, and facilitating budget transfers. You will build business cases for HR initiatives and projects, oversee the financial forecasting of those projects, and report on progress. You will also serve as a liaison and representative for HR Operations Finance with other finance and functional groups across NIKE. You will advise and train business managers on the various metrics and tools used to measure business results.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
  • 4-5 years' experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, or accounting
  • Ability to create reports and deliver presentations to senior leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and to run financial models
  • Proven experience in effectively working with senior leadership
  • Strong cross team collaboration
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background check
  • Preferred:
  • MBA in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company or national public accounting/consulting firm is a plus
