As SEC TECH GOAL MPO DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING you will report to the SEC TECH GOAL CAPABILITY DIRECTOR and will serve as a key leader of the SEC technical team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Be part of a program team focused on building a high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant supply chain platform that drive Nike's Digital transformation and growth strategies.
- Help team members to develop and support them whenever necessary
- Set priorities and get results across boundaries
- Ensure an inclusive work environment and manage performance
- Evaluate research and development projects results to assure accomplishment of technical objectives
- Support engineering team activities across partner and Nike teams

COMPETENCIES
- A minimum of 10 years management experience of high performing software engineering teams
- Strength in strategic thinking and translating strategy to measurable objectives
- Leadership in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment
- Comfortable leading globally distributed and diverse teams
- Experience in working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, Azure etc.)
- Experience in implementing or integrating with enterprise scale packages like SAP S4/AFS
- Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred
- Experience in micro service architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, Scala etc.
- Exposure to Supply Chain domain areas like inventory management, order management, logistics management, warehouse management
- Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles
- Comfortable leading meetings with partners across multiple global locations
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant subject area
- A minimum of 10 years management experience of high performing software engineering teams
- A minimum of 5 years management experience in ERP implementations or integrations with ERP systems like SAP S4, AFS etc
- Experience in full cycle implementations of ERP like SAP S4, AFS etc
- Leadership in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment
- Leadership in a globally distributed and diverse team environment
- Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles
