SALES MANAGER - Converse Taipei
The job Responsible for achieving assigned sales quota by bringing in new and maintaining existing business; sells products to a defined set of accounts or geographic territory; contributes to the development of the sales strategy at the account level, to maximize profitability for the company and account. Develops and executes strategies with accounts; including semi-annual account business plans and monthly revenue targets; drives business through accounts by utilizing customer service skills and building strong relationships based upon product/category and marketplace expertise which results in consistent target attainment. Provides people leadership; participates in activities such as work planning, process development, resource optimization, employee goal setting, coaching, hiring decisions, and performance monitoring; trains or mentors staff. Ensures timely execution of order tracking, order input, retail release and launch information, as well as order confirmation, cancellations and delivery information. Develops seasonal assortments, forecasts and scenario plans for assigned accounts using category, account, brand and marketplace knowledge. Increases sell-in and sell-through by developing and delivering targeted, persuasive sales presentations. Drives business through accounts by utilizing customer service skills and building strong relationships based upon product/category and marketplace expertise which results in consistent target attainment. Understands account competitors and marketplace; utilizes assessment, knowledge and a brand management focus to adjust and drive business plans through accounts. The person Bachelor Degree holder with at least 6 years of relevant experience. Experience in successful implementation of sales programs, policies, procedures and methodologies. Proficient in utilizing financial decision making models and translating results into business plans and accurate revenue forecasts. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. Experience using Microsoft Office tools and Sales/Account Management systems. Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams; able to influence and champion complex account cross-functionally and vertically within the organization and with the customers. Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; highly developed verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives; fluency in English and Mandarin. Previous experience in fashion brand is a plus.
