Regional District Manager

The Regional District Manager (RDM) manages a portfolio of stores. They ensure Nike Direct strategy is executed throughout their fleet while developing regionally specific business strategies to ensure premium executions and profitability. RDMs are in charge of setting KPI targets, monitoring these and coaching stores on how to continuously improve. Core Accountabilities: People: Manage store Head Coaches and set individual goals that link to business priorities and support their development as future Nike leaders Assist Coach hiring decisions Drive performance management Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Demand & Supply Management team to influence and optimize assortments Business: Accountable for the financial budget including labour costs and overall expenses Oversee store operations to achieve sales, service, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals. This includes the setting and monitoring of monthly, quarterly & annual KPI goals Develop and execute short and long-term plans by store, country and territory. Provide insights and trends on region and store activities to inform global strategies. Analyse district reports, identify opportunities and develop plans to maximize results Manage activities related to store portfolio plans, including store openings, refits and closings Monitor product movement and inventory levels Service: Develop and maintain a healthy store portfolio Execute global service strategies Maintain operational standards Ensure all cross-functional onboarding and ongoing training is conducted by the stores Partners: Demand & Supply Management, Retail Operation & Store Construction, Retail Brand Management, Human Resource & EKIN (Nike team that creates and conducts educational clinics for Nike products and categories). Requirements 5 years' progressive retail experience, 1-2 years multiple store management experience or large volume store management experience. Previous experience managing a store network annual turnover <$50M USD preferred. Extensive experience and ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service in a brand retailer. Retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, sales and people leadership and management experience required. Consistently listens, and elicits information from a variety of sources before making recommendations. Actively listens, encourages comments and effectively gives feedback. Proficient in Microsoft office products and Retail business systems Retail Operations knowledge including: Budget preparation, Inventory control, Personnel management, Loss prevention, Retail systems, Merchandising, Customer service, Footwear, Apparel, Demonstrate the ability to build, lead and manage high performing Teams. Demonstrate the ability to utilize tools to support conflict resolution and employee coaching and counselling Must be a proven generalist and a high-level contributor with decisions that affect profitability. May need to work weekends, evenings and holidays. Extensive travel required (60-80%)
