Merchandising Director

Will manage product assortment strategies and create consumer right assortments and channel edited offers for global distribution channels and levels. Will utilize marketplace data, consumer insights, and foresight and hindsight to drive assortments to timely deliver products to the appropriate marketplace. Will work cross-categorically with internal partners on global and geography merchandising, sales, product, and brand teams to drive well-informed assortment strategies and ensure a holistic, premium, differentiated and elevated marketplace. Will manage the creation of modular-based product assortment frameworks and develop consumer right assortments to execute the global strategy and deliver financial goals. Will oversee strategic conversations with product and sales teams and utilize marketplace capacity insights. Will execute seasonal strategies as they relate to initiatives, assortments, and launches. Will ensure merchandising strategies are in alignment with the seasonal business vision and goals. Will collaborate cross-categorically and develop and maintain key relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and collaboration at all key decision points. Will drive and execute appropriate product assortments. Will ensure regional execution of assortment strategies and segmentation in local marketplaces by fostering key relationships with geography counterparts and provide necessary tools. Will manage a team across multiple businesses. Will engage in budget management. Will supervise three to five people. Will engage in 15 percent or less domestic and international travel.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Merchandising. Will also accept a Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or Merchandising. Experience: 4 years of experience in merchandising for apparel or footwear products with Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience in merchandising for apparel or footwear products with Master's degree. Skills/Requirements: 2 years of experience : ((1) project management, (2) team management, (3) plan an apparel or footwear assortment for multiple seasons, (4) build and grow a particular footwear or apparel product to meet business goals, including financial targets, (5) create and deliver brand strategies across footwear or apparel assortments to foster growth, (6) brand management of footwear, apparel, and accessories assortments foster growth products to maintain a brand message, and (7) creation of promotion strategies across footwear, apparel, and accessory products to achieve positive brand coverage at a global level.
