WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an innovative and data analytics focused Manager to join our Integrated Advisory Services (IAS) team! We're seeking a leader who will bring their expertise in data modeling and analytics to help showcase and visualize the "art of the possible", encouraging members of Global Risk Management to think broadly on how the utilization of data & analytics can bring outstanding insights to targeted business processes, strategic objectives and associated risks.

On the IAS team, you will be an integral part of building up our Continuous Assurance arm of the team, passionate about developing analytics capabilities that continuously assess risk and gather increased assurance coverage over foundational processes. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, expect to be working with all members of the Global Risk Management team including (Integrated Advisory Services; Enterprise Risk Management; and Assurance). You will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive and cross-functional continuous assurance program. Another task will be routinely delivering impactful data analytic capabilities (e.g., targeted queries, visualizations, and dashboards) with meaningful insights that drive continuous improvement within the business.

On any given day, you might be working on various analytic tasks to identify friction points, process gaps, and improvement opportunities across foundational processes (e.g., orderbook and inventory management, source to pay, etc.). You will own the E2E analytics process from leading meetings with partners to discuss the business questions, defining the scope and methodology of the analysis, running the queries, and synthesizing analysis. You will also be interpreting trends and crafting impactful presentations and visualizations to share insights and recommendations with various business partners.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report directly to the Director for this function. We work across the company to drive enterprise accountability, and closely partners with cross-functional teams across Nike Technology, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and their respective business partners. We also regularly collaborate across the Global Risk Management function to ensure its data analytic needs are met.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Solid understanding of SQL and/or Python to develop and read queries and scripts to collect and analyze data
  • Experience with databases and data analytics/visualization tools, such as Snowflake, Tableau and / or Alteryx
  • Understanding of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or other cloud infrastructure environments
  • Validated ability to own end to end analytics and insights development (from acquiring and cleansing data; to developing analytical models using statistics and probability to flag outliers or identify relevant trends / insights; to visualizing data in a manner that enables clear communication of related findings / observations)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail and the ability to describe findings or analysis techniques to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to think critically, creatively solve problems, prioritize tasks, meet milestones, and work independently, taking vague requirements and transforming them into concise deliverables
  • Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant work experience or Masters + 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to travel 5-10% (domestic and international)
