WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're hiring a Merchandise Financial Planning Allocation Manager who will play a meaningful role in defining, creating and setting consumer demand. This individual will be managing multi-season revenue, receipt and inventory plans for the North America geography through the lens of consumer demand, optimizing overall marketplace inventory health

We're looking for someone who has a deep understanding of marketplace, product and inventory planning with strong financial and commercial acumen. We're interested in applicants who can build positive relationships across the organization with both upstream and downstream functions, and those who show good judgement in making decisions and problem solving.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you'll be working with Consumer Planning, Marketplace Units (MPUs) and the broader Allocation & Planning teams to define and manage multi-season merchandise financial plans for the geography, gender and/or marketplace units. You will determine Pre and In-Season top-down financial business targets, report and analyze seasonal bookings and retail sales results, run end-to-end inventory liquidation plans, and reconcile assortment plans with merchandise financial plans. You will be a key player in Jordan's robust allocations process for key footwear and apparel styles, helping facilitate the process across multiple key partners.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This position reports to the Jordan North America Merchandising Financial Planner Manager. You will work across various functions within Jordan North America and the Nike Demand & Supply Management Function including: consumer demand planners, MPU Planners, Consumer and Marketplace merchants.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field (2 years additional experience in lieu of degree).
  • 5+ years demonstrated ability in planning with emphasis on retail business planning, reporting, and analytics.
  • Sophisticated Excel skills.
  • Ability to sift through large amounts of data, identify critical information, analyze, and make recommendations.
  • Strong command of Retail metrics including Retail Sales, ST%, WOS, Inventories (marketplace + DC), Revenue and Margin with the ability to manipulate data for efficient outcome
  • Strong ability to influence through compelling communication.
  • Able to think critically and understand the potential of a product in the marketplace while identifying gaps to bottoms-up financial plan.
