Inventory Control Analyst - Ontario M-F 4am-12:45pm (Hofer)

As an Inventory Analyst you will directly support the Operational team from and Inventory Control perspective with research, adjustments, trouble shooting, data analysis, etc. Will participate in cross-functional teams and lead projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :



  • Support daily requests from the business including but not limited to adjustments, research and analysis of data.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Cycle Counters and Movement teams as needed.
  • Support the business as required outside of the normal business schedule.
  • Lead projects as directed by Manager.
  • Meets with cross functional teams to focus on continual improvement processes.
  • Supports all in-house safety programs and procedures.
  • Provides for training of new employees and shadow/stretch assignments.
  • Makes decisions guided by policies, procedures, and own business plan that impact the efficiency and effectiveness of own unit and other units with interrelated processes.
  • Develops productive working relationships with other peers, corporate and local associates.
  • Accepts and performs additional assignments as directed by Supervisor and Manager.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3 years' experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with WMS and Excel
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Word, Access, PowerPoint and SAP is preferred
  • Strong problem solving/decision making skills.
  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be dedicated, with a high degree of integrity.
  • Demonstrates future vision and continual improvement of processes and people.
  • Ability to perform in high pressure situations.


Language Skills: Must be able to communicate with various levels of the organization. Bilingual is a plus.



Reasoning Ability: Must exhibit sufficient problem solving skills to address issues that may arise concerning operational issues.



Physical Ability: May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time. Also may be required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push or pull.



Work Environment: Must be able to perform in warehouse environment with moderate noise level and continuous exposure to mobile heavy equipment.
