GRAPHICS PRINT DESIGNER I

Print Designer I - Nike Print Design

Works with the Design Director for Print / Pattern to help create the all-over print pattern for Nike Print/Pattern based on global strategy; Prints created are used across footwear, apparel and across various categories including: Nike Sportswear, Women's Training, Men's Training, Running, Tennis and Core Performance. The prints are directly linked to the seasonal creative direction set by senior design leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Creates original print/pattern signed off by Print Design Director
Collaborates with product designers to achieve required prints
Excellent Adobe CS skills
Strong hand drawing and painting skills.
Must have Pattern Industry experience
Design education
Strong Understanding of repeat patterns, screen printing and materials
Knowledge of NED Graphics for textiles is a plus but not mandatory

Strong awareness of print, color and trends through fashion, art, science
Strong understanding of textile/print/pattern technology and how to achieve desired textile print effects through materials, dyes, finishes, color achievability, burnout, screen-printing, sublimation, deboss, engineered etc.
Interest in Sport, Athlete
Strong knowledge of Sport brands
Communicates Effectively: solid presentation skills to varied audiences ; Ability to work with the print developers and category design teams to achieve desired print effects
Strong collaboration skills. Works in a small fast paced team
Enthusiastic curiosity and self-starting attitude, inspiring energy
Leads and Influences Others: delivers relevant information with confidence and builds a strong network of relationships
Delivers Results: proactive, accountable, goal-oriented
