Global Retail Brand Concepts Director, Nike Factory Stores

As the Retail Brand Concepts Director, Nike Factory Stores , you will lead the evolution of Nike Factory Store strategies that align with and support business and brand plans. You will develop and orchestrate Retail Brand, Visual Merchandising & Styling, and Stores Marketing end in mind omni-channel retail concept frameworks that power a distinctive in-store experience for Nike Factory Stores. You will be accountable for driving best in class retail experiences that ultimately inspire, power and serve the geographies, territories and key cites.



Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of briefs for new Nike Factory Store concepts in behalf of the Global Nike Direct Stores Brand team and partners with Global Retail Concepts, Store Design & Retail Brand Design teams to deliver against the strategic vision.
  • Develop seasonal strategies for Nike Factory Stores through an intentional omni-channel approach, integrating Nike Direct Stores Brand disciplines: Retail Brand, Visual Merchandising & Styling and Stores Marketing.
  • Partner with Stores Marketing to develop and deploy programs that drive quality consumer traffic to stores.
  • Partner with Retail Brand Categories, Visual Merchandising & Styling and Stores Marketing partners to develop, drive and execute an inspiring and integrated in-store member first journey.
  • Collaborate with Stores Marketing and Digital Product teams to bring key services to life across Nike Factory Stores (e.g. Nike App @ Retail and Nike by You).
  • Deliver fewer, bigger, bolder product stories that amass firepower against our most important innovations.
  • Primary point of contact for Nike Factory Stores geography partners.
  • Own and drive the functional gameplan and concept process.
  • Inspire, empower & serve geos with strategies, tools and guidance focused on enabling flawless execution for Nike Direct priorities.
  • Proactively partner to capture & apply consumer first, data driven retail insights.
  • Probe and mine capabilities and foster a test and learn mindset that informs future strategies.
  • Lead and drive global best practices and standards. Capture and deploy geo and city key learnings for broader scale
  • Leverage and apply geo and city insights to inform future strategies to dominate key cites and doors.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Communications, Merchandising, etc.)
  • 10+ years work experience in the following (or a combination of): Retail Marketing, Visual merchandising, Retail Space Planning, Event/Experience Design
  • 2 additional years required in lieu of a degree
  • Affinity for sport, fashion and retail
  • In-depth knowledge of the Global Marketplace with an understanding of the competitive market, consumers and retail trends
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work in a constantly evolving environment, making judgment calls and shifts as needed
  • High-level thinker with strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation
  • Capable of understanding challenges or underlying concerns and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
  • Prior management experience leading projects and a team
  • Prior experience in the fashion or sportswear industry
  • Multi-tasking capabilities, with ability to project manage and/or work on a variety of different projects and workstreams at one time
  • Strong people skills, diplomacy and collaborative spirit
  • Proficient in Keynote & Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite
