Global Process Manager

As the Global Process Manager your primary role is to oversee and manage the DC Review process, governance and best practice sharing across Nike's DC network. As you will be part of the Key Operational Excellence leadership team that will design solutions and provides support for Nike's Distribution Centers that drive a culture of process improvement, NLS, metrics, standardization, assessments, and operational excellence.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in a transformation effort that will transform our major DC's to our NLS (Nike Logistic System) foundation.
  • Participating in later phases of large DC infrastructure projects.
  • Reviewing facilities / MHE, processes, systems, organizations, DC performance metrics.
  • Ensuring the alignment of assessments with efforts from Tech, internal audit, Lean, 3PL mgmt. and operations.
  • Connecting subject matter experts, share insights and best practices, and create a process for sharing best practices and highlighting areas of opportunity across the DC Network.
  • Driving compliance with the global governance and intake process to ensure adoption of standard processes within Nike's Distribution Centers.
  • Ensuring collaboration to coordinate plans and drive business results, process excellence and capability development.
  • Recommending Innovative Operational Excellence solutions for our DC's that will lead us in becoming industry leaders.
  • Supporting validation of 3PL contract T&C's

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree and minimum of 5 years supply chain experience.
  • End to end knowledge of supply chain operations and systems; distribution center operations and warehouse management systems experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing Lean into a Distribution Center environment.
  • Project team leadership/ coaching skills and ability to collaborate at all levels.
  • Experience in aligning cross-cultural, cross-functional and virtual teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid presenter and group facilitator. Exceptional listening skills.
  • Understand implications of different operational choices, and guide team to best solutions for organization.
  • Comfort with principles and issues related to Information Technology systems, development, and design.
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to create trust among those with diverse personal styles.
  • Proven energy to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Variable travel, approximately 60%.
  • Possible future move to another geography is a possibility.
