Fulfill Process and Innovation Director

The Nike Express Lane enables NIKE to connect more quickly and authentically with our consumer. It is a key initiative under Nike's 2x speed effort focused on improving our lead time across the value chain to deliver the product faster to the consumer. As the Fulfill Process and Innovation Director, you will be a key leader on the Global Express Lane team and the person accountable for the end to end improvement for Nike's current $2B Always Available (AA) business. This includes both working in concert with the geo AA leadership and process managers, as well as coordinating across global functions to drive change, investment, and executional improvement. In addition, you will be responsible for scaling new processes/capabilities as Fulfill takes on the next speed model, "Rapid Restock". This involves a similar stakeholder group, including the Global Express Lane innovation team. As a member of a small global team, the expectation is for the person in this role to bring enterprise thinking and contribute across the full scope of the FulFill and Express Lane business. This is one of the few roles at Nike that truly spans the end to end value chain.

The FulFill Process and Innovation Director will work extensively with geography partners (Geo Process Leads) to drive ongoing process improvement in the Always Available business. You will coordinate across global functions to drive execution (e.g. working with Marketplace ops to drive AA order management improvement). You will be responsible for ongoing process improvement agenda, execution, and results.

Key Accountabilities:
Process Improvement: Deploy new processes across geos to support innovation/capability deployment to scale new speed models in fulfill, specifically the scaling of Rapid Restock (getting back in stock on seasonal colorways) into Fulfill.

Capability Development: Work with the innovation team to outline and prioritize capabilities for Fulfill (inclusive to Always Available and Rapid Restock). Drive planning synched with geos on the programs that will have the most impact on the business and with the innovation team and strategy team through funding and business planning cycles.

Program management: Track and manage multiple work-tracks against overall business process improvement initiative to drive change and results and as well prioritize effort against highest impact areas.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred and at least 7 years total experience (3 years' experience post MBA) in management or retail/supply chain consulting working on product, sourcing and supply chain focus areas; or corporate strategy in apparel, footwear, accessories role focused on proposing and designing/implementing changes to sourcing, product innovation, supply chain, product go-to-market functions
  • 2 additional years' experience in lieu of an advanced degree
  • Proven ability to navigate large, matrixed organizations, influence partners and drive change through large scale deployment of new capabilities
  • Strong End to End knowledge of the value chain from consumer through to sourcing (inclusive of planning, manufacturing, logistics / order management)
  • Ability to summarize and present high-level strategy and process execution at senior level
  • Ability to develop long range strategy and translate that into near term execution and clear capabilities
  • Ability to think beyond current state and leverage industry best practice
  • Strong process knowledge - understanding of replenishment processes and good process mindset and experience in large scale process improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple work tracks in the overall improvement of the Fulfill business
