Director of Stores

  • Lead field teams to deliver budgeted and forecasted revenue
  • Manage all operating expenses and best practices to optimize efficiencies and drive profit to the bottom line
  • Develop an aligned and cascaded strategy to support the overall NA Stores long term strategy
  • Directly lead and develop the DM's to be holistic, strategic and long term business leaders
  • Partner with all key WHQ cross functional stakeholders (Especially Store Ops, & HR)
  • Continue to elevate the Brand within the marketplace through elevated service levels and connection to the consumer
  • Focus on oversight of districts, direction of coordinated merchandising and sales efforts
  • Strengthen the Field talent agenda and continue to elevate the caliber of talent in the field at all levels
  • Manage the portfolio. Partner with Real Estate to identify new location potential, evaluate the renewal of store leases and manage store closing process
  • Manages collective store P&Ls
  • Ensures all directions of execution and metric based targets (e.g. unit velocity) are reached

  • Hind-sighting

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in District or Regional related role
  • Ability to communicate and conduct presentations to all levels in the organization, including senior management
  • Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Excellent analytical skills, excellent business/ financial acumen, proficient information seeking skills and drive for results
  • Ability to think and act for results with a solutions-oriented mind-set
  • Effective leadership
  • Ability to follow through and meet deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP
  • Travel- 50-75%
  • Irregular work hours- availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
