Director of Delivery & Support

As a Director Delivery & Support, you will be part of a highly visible, strategic team focused on aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands. The successful candidate will:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Leads Delivery & Support strategy and execution for the Enterprise Platform teams; including Release Management, Change Control, Support Strategy, Chaos Engineering, Site Reliability Strategy and Incident Response.
• Works closely with Enterprise Platforms Domain leaders to develop vision, strategy and execution plans for delivery and support that are aligned with business outcomes.
• Works with DevOps & Tooling team to define tooling needs for both delivery and support problems..
• Ensures team is leveraging Nike's Technology delivery methodology to develop platform products.
• Stays current with industry trends and leads development around modern approaches to delivery and support.
• Accountable for growing & developing Enterprise Platform technology by attracting top industry talent.
• Develops Delivery & Support annual operating plans.
• Develops and manages team metrics.
• Contributes to cross-team Enterprise Platforms domain-mapping and strategy.
• Ensures the technical team aligns with architectural standards, documentation and operational strategy alongside peers


Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 7+ years' experience leading and managing large-scale teams building and operating large scale platforms or services.
• Proven track record in developing technology strategy and vision.
• Extensive background in working with business partners in the areas of release management, operational support strategies, offshore support and follow-the-sun models.
• Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Proven experience working in an Agile Development environment.
• Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
• Demonstration of strong influencing skills
